Passing the baton,
from builder to builder.
Relais Partners is searching for one business, the right one. C$0.5–4M of EBITDA, in the Greater Montréal area. We take the baton from the owner who built it, and keep the race going.
In a relay, each runner gives everything on their leg, then hands the baton to the next.Relais Partners is about that moment of transition. Taking the baton from an owner who has spent years building a business, respecting the ground already covered, and continuing the race with care.We are looking for one company to devote ourselves to for the long run.
The business keeps its name, its people and its address. This is not a roll-up, and there is no platform to fold you into. The person you negotiate with is the person who shows up on Monday.
The owner sets the pace of the handoff. Leave at closing, stay through a transition, or keep a stake and a seat on the board. Every structure is on the table, and every owner who writes to us gets an answer.
Operator
A leader on site, and room for you.
We buy to run the business ourselves, on site. Exiting shareholders can support the transition or stay involved, at the pace and in the role that suits them.
Continuity
The business carries on, as it is.
Same name, same employees, same customers, same suppliers. The transition happens at your pace, without disruption.
Legacy
Securing what you built.
A clean transaction, a fair price and a buyer with committed capital to close. Your wealth is protected, and so is your legacy.
Established, profitable, and led by an owner thinking about the next chapter.
Two ways to pass the baton. Both begin with a conversation.
Capital is committed by investors who have backed and closed searches before.
